Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in South Delhi. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day interior fit out project activities, ensuring work is completed according to design specifications, structural requirements, and quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and vendors, and resolving technical issues that arise on site. The role involves conducting regular inspections, documenting site reports, verifying material quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines and working on AutoCAD for changes in specification, drawings. The Site Engineer will also support project planning, communicate timelines and issues to the project team, and help maintain a well-organized and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills, with experience managing daily interior work activities and coordinating with project stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills to interact with designers, civil engineers, contractors, and clients, and to prepare clear site reports.
- 3-8 year experience in quality control, including monitoring workmanship, verifying materials, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Technical knowledge in structural engineering and civil engineering principles, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with prior site engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, measurement, and reporting; familiarity with construction management software is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
