Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer / Site Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in retail store projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring quality execution, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities for retail store construction and fit-out projects.
Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, and project managers.
Monitor material usage and maintain records of site inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
Resolve on-site technical issues and escalate when necessary.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost tracking.
Ensure proper documentation, including BOQs, work orders, and site reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
1–2 years of hands-on experience in retail store construction or interior fit-outs.
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office tools.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel to different site locations.
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling retail chains, showrooms, or commercial outlets.
Knowledge of MEP coordination is a plus.
Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations.
