Site Engineer – HVAC (MEP)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer – HVAC (MEP) to join our projects team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the execution, coordination, and supervision of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for high-rise residential and commercial developments. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, architects, and site teams to ensure all MEP works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation and execution of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection works at project sites.
- Ensure MEP works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Emphasise on FIRE system executions & plumbing.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and other MEP disciplines for seamless project execution.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements before execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within schedule.
- Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship, quality standards, and system performance meet project requirements.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and coordinate design clarifications when required.
- Prepare daily progress reports, material reconciliations, and site documentation.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards throughout project execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in MEP site execution, preferably on high-rise residential or commercial projects.
- Strong expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection/fire fighting systems.
- Good understanding of MEP coordination, installation methodologies, testing, and commissioning.
- Ability to interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, fire safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities while maintaining quality, safety, and project schedules.
