AVR Homes is looking for a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, preferably in G+2 to G+5 residential or commercial projects.
📌 Position Details
Role: Site Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Employment: Full-time
Salary: ₹2.5 LPA – ₹4.5 LPA
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Execute and monitor RCC, foundation, column, beam, slab, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
• Ensure construction is carried out as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment effectively.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete and other civil works before execution.
• Maintain construction quality and ensure proper workmanship.
• Read and interpret structural, architectural and MEP drawings.
• Verify contractor measurements and work quantities.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate material requirements with purchase and stores teams.
• Ensure site safety, housekeeping and proper work practices.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers/project managers for timely resolution.
🎓 Requirements
• Diploma / Any Degree
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Experience in G+2 to G+5 building construction is preferred.
• Good knowledge of RCC and finishing works.
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
• Good contractor and manpower coordination skills.
• Knowledge of construction quality and safety practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Residential/commercial construction experience will be an added advantage.

Candidates currently working or previously experienced in G+2 to G+5 residential or commercial construction projects.
