We're looking for an Site Engineer to be Amarilla's presence on site, every day.
The Role
You'll be on the ground managing field execution across our projects — coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and field crews through every phase of construction. Working alongside Project Partners and BIM/Digital Twin engineers, you'll keep work on scope, on schedule, and on budget, while holding every trade to our quality standa
rd.This role is for someone disciplined and detail-obsessed.
What You'll Do
- Run daily site operations, coordinating contractors and subcontractors across all construction phases
- Monitor schedule and budget, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues before they grow
- Inspect and verify subcontractor work for quality and timeliness; prepare and submit payment requests to the Construction Manager for approval
- Communicate any scope deviation or contractual issues to the Project Partner
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; coordinate official inspections
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and field documentation
- Manage materials, equipment, and logistics so the right resources arrive at the right time
- Enforce Health & Safety standards and all applicable regulations on site
- Implement and uphold Amarilla's 5S site standard — holding subcontractors accountable for a clean, organized workplace every single day
Required
- Degree in Civil Engineer, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on construction experience
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Disciplined, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to the highest execution standards
A plus
- Experience in high-end, high-specification residential construction
- Familiarity with BIM or Digital Twin workflows
- Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating diverse teams on site
- Ability to maintain urgency and composure in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
