At Agrifirst - Farmers First, we are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee our ongoing projects, ensuring smooth execution. The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction sites, ensuring work progresses as planned, coordinating with the Project Manager, and ensuring all site activities comply with safety and quality standards.

Minimum Work Experience : 1-3 years Post Qualification
Minimum Education Required : Graduate in Civil Engineering, Agricultural engineering or a related field
Certification/Training Preferred : Prefab Structures Experience, or Polyhouse Construction
Salary Range : ₹20,000-₹30,000 per month
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Lucknow. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction and installation activities for protected cultivation structures such as polyhouses, greenhouses, and irrigation systems, ensuring work is executed according to design, safety standards, and company specifications. Responsibilities include supervising site teams, coordinating with civil and structural engineers, monitoring quality control, and maintaining accurate documentation of project progress and materials. The role involves regular communication with project managers, vendors, and farmers to resolve site issues, plan work schedules, and support timely project delivery. The Site Engineer will also assist in site inspections, troubleshooting structural or installation problems, and implementing best practices for durable, efficient farming infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision and coordination skills, with experience managing field activities and construction teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills for interacting with farmers, contractors, vendors, and internal project stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess quality control and site inspection skills to ensure materials, workmanship, and installations meet technical and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to agricultural infrastructure and construction projects.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or agricultural projects, especially polyhouses or greenhouses, is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use basic site measurement tools, and maintain project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, willingness to work on field sites, and commitment to safety and compliance.
