Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Nagpur. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including monitoring construction work, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising civil works, checking drawings and quantities, and identifying any technical issues or deviations from plans. The role involves implementing quality control procedures, maintaining site records, and preparing daily progress reports. The Site Engineer will also communicate regularly with project managers, consultants, and vendors to support smooth project execution and timely completion.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills, including experience managing daily construction activities and site coordination.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with project teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and compliance with standards.
- Technical understanding of structural engineering concepts and application in civil construction projects.
- Background as a civil engineer or related discipline, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices, local building codes, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in basic construction software, MS Office, and site reporting tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
