Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer with experience in metal & wooden doors and interior acoustic works. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and successful completion of projects within timelines, quality standards, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end execution of projects related to metal doors, wooden doors, and acoustic interiors.
- Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure proper understanding of project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of work.
- Supervise site activities, installation, and manpower deployment.
- Ensure quality control as per approved drawings and standards.
- Identify and resolve site issues, technical challenges, and coordination gaps.
- Manage material planning, dispatch, and site availability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at site.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update management.
- Support billing, measurements, and documentation for project closure.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication, Door Installation, wooden joinery, and acoustic panel systems.
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical layouts.
- Good project management and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Knowledge of site safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or relevant field.
Experience:
- 3–8 years of experience in doors (metal/wooden) and interior/acoustic projects.
- Experience in handling commercial, industrial, or institutional projects preferred.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in acoustic enclosures, soundproofing, or studio setups.
- Familiarity with site execution in corporate offices, factories, or auditoriums.
