Site Engineer – Civil & Government Projects (LGSF Construction)

About the Role
Avabiz Ventures is hiring a Site Engineer with strong civil engineering knowledge and practical experience in executing government infrastructure projects. The candidate should be capable of handling on-site execution, contractor coordination, quality control, measurement verification, project supervision, and project estimation activities.
Candidates with experience in prefab/LGSF/modular construction will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day site execution activities for civil and prefab projects
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and government officials
* Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines
* Monitor:
* Site progress
* Material usage
* Labour productivity
* Safety compliance
* Quality standards
* Prepare and verify:
* BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
* Detailed project estimations
* Rate analysis
* Quantity take-offs
* Material estimations
* Cost calculations for government tenders and execution
* Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare accurate estimation sheets and project costing
* Verify measurements and prepare:
* DPRs
* Billing measurements
* Progress reports
* Running bills
* Site reports
* Handle government project documentation and compliance requirements
* Coordinate inspections and approvals with authorities and consultants
* Ensure proper execution of foundation, structural, finishing, and installation activities
* Support procurement and material planning activities at site
* Maintain site records, checklists, and daily progress updates
Required Qualifications
* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
* 2–6+ years experience in civil construction projects
* Prior experience in government projects is mandatory/preferred

* Government Schedule of Rates (SOR)
* PWD/CPWD specifications
* Tender documentation
* Measurement standards
Documentation & Site Management
* Site measurement and billing knowledge
* Contractor and labour handling
* Quality and safety supervision
* Project coordination and reporting
Software Skills
* AutoCAD (basic understanding preferred)
* MS Excel and MS Office
* Estimation and quantity calculation skills
* Site reporting/documentation tools
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Experience in prefab/LGSF/modular construction is an added advantage
* Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
* Able to work independently at project sites
* Willingness to travel for project execution
* Good communication and reporting ability
* Ability to handle both execution and estimation responsibilities
