GreenLine Station is hiring a Site Supervisor to run day-to-day execution across our active projects. You will be our eyes and hands on site — tracking progress, holding vendors to standard, solving problems as they come up, and making sure drawings translate accurately into built work. This role is built for someone who enjoys being on site, reads drawings fluently, and takes pride in clean execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily site activities across residential and boutique commercial projects, ensuring work is carried out per drawings and specifications.
• Read, interpret, and communicate design and working drawings clearly to vendors, contractors, and on-site teams.
• Coordinate daily between the design team, architect, vendors, site contractors, and clients to keep work moving.
• Track site progress against schedule, flag delays early, and drive follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
• Carry out quality checks at each stage — civil, joinery, finishes, installation — and call out deviations before they become rework.
• Maintain daily site reports with photographs, progress notes, and pending-item lists, shared consistently with the studio.
• Manage on-site problem solving: measurement mismatches, material issues, vendor conflicts, sequencing decisions.
• Support the designer on material approvals, sample checks, and installation supervision.
Required Qualifications
• Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputed institution (preferred).
• 1–2 years of on-site supervision experience on interior fit-out or architectural projects.
• Ability to read architectural and interior working drawings with confidence.
• Strong working knowledge of civil work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing trades as they apply to interior execution.
• Fluency in Tamil; working English for drawings, reports, and studio communication. Hindi is a plus.
Preferred Skills
• Vendor network or working relationships with Chennai-based fabricators, contractors, and finishing tradespeople.
• Familiarity with common materials and finishes used in high-end interiors — veneers, stone, microcement, PU, powder coatings.
• Basic comfort with WhatsApp-based reporting, photo documentation, and simple digital tools for tracking.
• Two-wheeler and willingness to travel across sites in and around Chennai.
