Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai for a Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator will manage and oversee site operations, coordinate logistics, ensure safety compliance, and monitor project milestones. Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, managing resources effectively, liaising with clients and internal teams, and ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
The Site Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth communication between site teams, contractors, vendors, and management. The role involves monitoring work progress, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and supporting timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate daily site operations and workforce activities.
* Ensure work is carried out as per project schedule and drawings.
* Maintain proper site records, attendance, registers, and documentation.
* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments for material and manpower requirements.
* Monitor site progress and report updates to management regularly.
* Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site discipline.
* Handle site logistics, material movement, and equipment coordination.
* Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
* Assist in resolving on-site issues and operational challenges.
* Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
* Ensure all work complies with company standards and client requirements.
Required Skills:
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Basic knowledge of site operations and project execution.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Strong documentation and reporting skills.
* Problem-solving and team management abilities.
* Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic reporting tools.
Qualification:
* Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Relevant experience in site coordination/project execution preferred.
Experience:
* 1–5 years of experience in site coordination, construction, engineering, or related projects.
Preferred Qualities:
* Responsible and disciplined approach towards work.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle site challenges.
* Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
