Civil Engineer (8-10 Years Experience)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team, possessing strong knowledge and experience in managing Residences and large Commercial projects
Role Overview
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate quantity estimates, and ensuring efficient execution of construction activities.
The role involves working on large-scale projects such as high-rise and multi-dwelling developments, with a strong focus on Quantity Surveying (QS), BOQ preparation, and cost control.
The candidate will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Quantity Take-Off & BOQ Preparation
· Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
· Develop comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) aligned with project scope, ensuring clarity for tendering and execution
· Understanding of construction materials and effective labour management in project execution
Cost & Time Management
• Prepare and verify BOQs and estimates
• Support cost optimization and value engineering
Design Integration
• Collaborate with architects during concept and design development stages
• Ensure constructability and cost-efficiency
Structural / Mechanical / Electrical and Plumbing Coordination
• Coordinate and review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for clash-free execution & Coordinate with external consultants for deliverables
· Carry out comparative analysis and validate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with BOQs to ensure coordinated design and accurate quantity estimation
Execution & Site Coordination
• Translate design drawings into site-executable information
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction quality
• Resolve on-site technical issues
Material & Construction Oversight
• Recommend materials and construction techniques
• Review vendor submissions
• Ensure compliance with IS codes and safety standards
· Knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SR) for quantity estimation and cost evaluation
Qualifications & Skills
· BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
· 8-10 years of experience in residential/commercial projects
· Strong knowledge of QS, BOQ & cost management
· Experience in high-rise & multi-dwelling projects
• Strong knowledge of RCC design and detailing
· Understanding of MEP design
• Basic understanding of ETABS and MS Office
· Proficiency in AutoCAD
· Strong communication, problem solving and coordination skills to work with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
· Good knowledge of building codes, local bylaws, and statutory requirements
