Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Site Civil Engineer will supervise day-to-day site activities, ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications, and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring project progress, preparing and maintaining site reports, measurements, and documentation, and supporting project scheduling and resource allocation. The role also involves checking quality of materials and workmanship, enforcing safety standards, and assisting in resolving technical issues that arise on site. The Site Civil Engineer will regularly liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to support timely and compliant project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core civil engineering, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
- Practical experience working as part of a Civil Engineers team on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Skills in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related site infrastructure works.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and basic construction safety practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with site teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with common engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) is an advantage.
- Prior site experience in building or infrastructure projects in or around Bengaluru is beneficial.
