Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring work is executed according to design, quality, and safety standards. This role includes supervising site work, coordinating with contractors and project teams, monitoring progress against project plans, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Site Civil Engineer will review drawings and specifications, assist with material planning and procurement, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The position also involves preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting eco-friendly construction practices aligned with Raaga’s values. Regular communication with project managers, clients, and site staff is required to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong technical foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and standards.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on building or infrastructure projects, including site supervision and coordination of construction activities.
Skills in Planning and project scheduling, including resource allocation, progress tracking, and reporting.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and related site infrastructure design and execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Proficiency in basic engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on-site.
