Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanayannur, responsible for overseeing civil works and ensuring that construction activities follow approved designs, standards, and safety practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising site execution, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, reviewing drawings, and monitoring quality of materials and workmanship. The role involves planning daily and weekly work schedules, checking levels and alignment, assisting in stormwater and drainage layout implementation, and keeping accurate site records and reports. The Site Civil Engineer also supports project managers with progress updates, resolves technical issues on site, and ensures compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply structural and infrastructure plans.
- Experience working as a Civil Engineer on residential or commercial building projects, including coordination of on-site activities.
- Proficiency in Planning and scheduling construction activities, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and basic site infrastructure services.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use basic surveying tools, and prepare site reports.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work effectively on active construction sites.
