Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer based in Ambernath. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including supervising civil works, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, monitoring project progress, managing quality control checks, and supporting planning and scheduling to meet deadlines. The role also involves preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, assisting in material estimation, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimise construction processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of core civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including interpreting and implementing design drawings and technical specifications
- Experience in Planning and site coordination, with the ability to schedule activities and manage resources effectively
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution
- Previous experience working as a Site Civil Engineer or in a similar site-based role in construction projects
- Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Ability to work on-site, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- Basic proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) for drawings, reporting, and documentation
