Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day civil works at project sites, ensuring design specifications are implemented accurately and safely. Responsibilities include supervising construction activities, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and monitoring project progress against plans and schedules. The role involves inspecting work quality, managing site documentation, resolving on-site technical issues, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai, requiring regular presence at project locations and active participation in site meetings.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings.
- Candidates should possess experience as Civil Engineers in Planning, including site layout, resource allocation, and schedule management.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design, focusing on drainage, runoff control, and site grading.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, with familiarity in building codes, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Proficiency in engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and willingness to work full time on site in Chennai.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial building projects and basic understanding of architecture and interior design workflows is beneficial.
