Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, including monitoring site work, ensuring adherence to design specifications, and coordinating with contractors and project managers. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling tasks, checking material quality, supervising structural and civil works, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, and addressing technical issues that arise during execution. The Site Civil Engineer will also support inspections, contribute to problem-solving, and help drive projects to completion within time and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills relevant to site execution and structural works.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Planning skills for organizing site activities, resources, and schedules.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage design and implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with basic engineering software and MS Office; exposure to CAD tools is an advantage.
- Prior on-site experience in building or infrastructure projects in an urban environment such as Ahmedabad is preferred.
