Job summary
The Site Engineer (Civil) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities at project sites, ensuring work is executed according to design, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordination with contractors, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities.
- Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and plans.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech / B.E. Civil).
- 5+ years of experience in construction/site engineering (can vary).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office tools.
