Associate - Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Responsible for overseeing and effectively administering incubation and various programs aimed at fostering the development and growth of startups. Responsibilities: Assist Project Manager for endtoend management of the project Assist in screening startup applications, assess technology novelty, business potential, competition. Report generation and documentation related to the programs. Organizing startup events and programs Facilitate access to mentor networks & funding opportunities for startups Assist incubation team for various government programs related to startups Coordinating with stakeholders for the regular updates and coordination Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise: · B.E. Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related fields. · Understanding of technology and business is preferred . Fair understanding about emerging technologies . Good analytics skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills · Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) · Should possess good social and interpersonal skills, should be able to integrate with team · Ability to execute tasks independently · Exposure to startup ecosystem, willingness to work with startups will be preferred

Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), is an umbrella organization at IIT Bombay for fostering entrepreneurship and nurturing technology start-ups. It provides 'Start to Scale' support to technology startups and innovators. Established in the year 2004, SINE has completed 20 years and has gained recognition as one of the pioneers of the startup incubation ecosystem in India. Over the years, it has built capabilities to support startups with strong Intellectual Property (IP). SINE has set up its larger incubation infrastructure spread over ~70,000 sq. ft of area, that would include office space, lab space and prototyping facilities etc. In its journey since inception SINE has incubated over 240+ Start-ups founded by 1000+ entrepreneurs who in-turn created more than 10000+ employment opportunities.
