Job details:
Manufacturing Simulation Specialist.
CAE Engineer: Fine Blanking Simulation.
Experience in CAE: 4 to 6 Years.
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering & Manufacturing Technology.
Key Job Responsibility:
- A highly skilled Simulation Specialist to drive our cold forging and fine blanking operations. To virtually validate metal forming processes, optimize tooling sequences, and reduce production costs.
- The primary goal is to simulate manufacturing processes, optimize die design, and prevent defects before physical production.
- Die & Tooling Optimization: Analyze forming loads, die stresses, and tool wear to optimize die design and extend tooling life.
- Defect Prediction: Predict and mitigate manufacturing defects such as crack formation, material tearing, Surface fracture, Die Role, Surface finish, and high residual stresses.
- Sequence Design: Determine the optimal multi-stage pre-form and intermediate operations required to produce net-shape components.
- Process Feasibility: Assess the feasibility of new part designs and suggest the most cost-effective manufacturing routes.
- Analysis & Reporting: Correlate simulation results with actual physical trials; prepare technical reports and present findings to the design and production teams.
Experience in CAE Tools: Solid understanding of metal plasticity, metallurgy, mechanical properties of materials, and metal flow mechanics.
Software - Transvalor FORGE
