Assistant Operations Manager | SIMPLED WAYS | India Position: Operations Assistant Manager – UK Maintenance Industry Location: Remote Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM UK Time (Monday to Saturday) Compensation: ₹10,000 per week Growth: Possibility to grow within the company --- About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the UK maintenance and construction industry. This role requires a deep understanding of British standards for maintenance and repairs, scheduling, and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day activities between operatives, management, and finance. As an Ops Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in scheduling jobs, monitoring operatives' work on-site, and ensuring quality reporting and handovers for invoicing and finance. You will also be responsible for using Slack and CRMs efficiently to maintain seamless communication and job tracking. --- Key Responsibilities: - Understand the UK maintenance and construction industry, including British standards for repairs and compliance. - Manage and monitor schedules for operatives, ensuring jobs are properly assigned and completed. - Use Slack and CRM systems to coordinate with operatives, management, and finance teams. - Follow up on job progress, ensuring operatives send during and after pictures for every job. - Prepare completion reports in Slack channels for each job, summarising the work done and highlighting any important details. - Provide handover reports to the finance team so invoicing can proceed smoothly. - Maintain a strong understanding of UK suppliers and materials, including familiarity with B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Toolstation, etc., to assist operatives with sourcing when needed. - Ensure quality control by reviewing reports and operatives' performance. - Communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and spoken. - Be a team player, working closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations. - Ensure stable internet connection at all times to maintain consistent communication. --- What We're Looking For: - Strong understanding of UK maintenance and construction industries. - Experience with Slack and CRMs (training provided if needed). - Excellent communication skills in English. - Familiarity with UK suppliers (B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Toolstation). - Ability to analyse repairs done on-site and ensure they meet British standards. - Strong reporting skills – ensuring operatives' work is properly documented and shared. - Stable internet connection is a must. - Highly motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented. - Attention to detail and ability to multitask across several projects.
