Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Scrum Master to support agile teams in delivering high-impact solutions. The role demands a strong understanding of agile practices, hands-on tool setup and maintenance, and a continuous improvement mindset. You will play a key part in driving execution efficiency, improving visibility, and helping teams stay focused, aligned, and productive.

Key Responsibilities

● Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews

● Track sprint progress, resolve blockers, and ensure smooth delivery aligned with sprint goals.

● Actively collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify task ownership and delivery expectations.

● Share structured updates with stakeholders and leadership, focusing on progress, risks, and accountability.

● Set up and configure project management tools like Jira or others as needed for teams and projects.

● Ensure tool hygiene and data accuracy, including backlog grooming, sprint board status, and workflow consistency.

● Create and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency across teams and functions.

● Monitor team workload and work-in-progress (WIP) limits to prevent overburdening and maintain delivery balance.

● Encourage adoption of agile best practices, automation, and new tools to improve team productivity.

● Drive initiatives to identify process gaps and implement solutions in collaboration with leadership.

What We’re Looking For

● A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

● 1–3 years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coordinator, or Project Operations role, preferably within a fast-paced product or tech-driven environment.

● Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, or equivalent platforms, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.

● Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and key delivery metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey updates and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Proven ability to analyze team performance, drive estimation accuracy, and continuously improve velocity and predictability.

● A proactive, reliable, and adaptable mindset, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role. ● Passion for continuous improvement, with a focus on optimizing team outcomes and delivery processes. ● Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM or PSM) is a strong plus.
