More About The Role

The role involves overseeing and optimizing industrial processes, coordinating engineering and improvement projects, and providing guidance to manufacturing partners to enhance capacity, cost, and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, project management, and local market teams, to ensure effective project execution and continuous improvement. You will work from our office in Istanbul.

  • Enhancing industrial processes at the manufacturing partner to improve capacity, cost, and quality
  • Support on local for local business development in METAP countries by managing local industrialization with selected partners
  • Managing engineering and improvement projects through partner resources to meet operational and cost improvement objectives
  • Collaborating with partners to troubleshoot, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement improvement project
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing enhancement of standard production systems
  • Co-developing and managing complex engineering and improvement projects with the manufacturing partner
  • Provide coaching and training to the manufacturing partners on LEAN methodology
  • Tracking operational performance, signaling, and advising on areas for improvement
  • Driving fast and effective root cause problem solving for output and quality issues, including escalation
  • Ensuring design and documentation criteria meet project specifications
  • Enhancing the maturity of EMS/CMS and ensuring fast issue resolution
  • Coordinating actions regarding MVA or BOM cost improvement objectives and monitoring related action
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of standard production systems with other manufacturing teams

More about you

  • Fluency in Turkish and English is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or any other relevant field
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial operations, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management, including expertise in Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain processes
  • Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, and commercial dealings with suppliers
  • Proven experience in Project Management that includes project planning, resourcing planning, budget control and project control
  • Capability to influence and lead teams, driving results and managing pressure
  • You are open to traveling within the METAP region and globally based in business needs
  • Ability to work independently, cooperate with global team and engage with different stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures
