Signal Processing Engineer – Biomedical Algorithms | Janitri (Bengaluru)
Janitri is on a mission to improve maternal and newborn care through medical devices and digital solutions. We’re looking for a Signal Processing Engineer (1–3 years experience) to join our R&D team and work on real-world physiological data that directly impacts healthcare outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize biomedical signal-processing algorithms
- Analyze physiological data from devices, clinical studies, and simulations
- Improve algorithm accuracy and reliability through validation and benchmarking
- Build workflows and visualizations in Python/MATLAB
- Collaborate with clinical, embedded, and product teams
What We’re Looking For
- Strong DSP fundamentals (filters, time/frequency analysis)
- Experience with biomedical/physiological signals
- Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of MATLAB
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with noisy, real-world datasets
Bonus Skills: ECG/PPG/EMG exposure, medical device/healthcare tech experience, ML for biosignals, Git/embedded systems, clinical study exposure.
