Role Description:
The Automation Engineer (Siemens PLC) will be responsible for the design, programming, and full-scale commissioning of Siemens automation systems. This role is pivotal in integrating electrical systems and ensuring automation meets rigorous operational targets for defense projects. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune, requiring a proactive professional who can handle the demands of site commissioning and shift work.
Salary: ₹6,00,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning & Troubleshooting: Independently execute and manage full commissioning projects from start to finish at various sites.
- Systems Development: Develop, program, and optimize Siemens PLC programs and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Project Integration: Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver complex defense-related automation solutions.
- Operational Excellence: Perform process monitoring and electrical system integration to ensure maximum system efficiency.
- Flexibility: Maintain the ability to work in shifts as per specific project and site requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: BE (Bachelor of Engineering) in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–3 years of industrial automation experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Chemical sectors.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC.
- Technical Expertise: Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Process Control; hands-on experience with Safety PLC is a significant advantage.
- Project Track Record: Proven ability to analyze data and execute tests, with at least 2 full commissioning projects completed individually.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments both independently and as a team player.
