Role Description The Siemens MRI Engineer role at Sasha HealthCare is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The individual in this role will be responsible for installation, configuration, calibration, and testing of Siemens MRI systems at client locations, ensuring safe and reliable performance aligned with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with hospital staff and internal teams, and documenting service activities and reports. The role also involves supporting equipment upgrades, training end-users on basic system operations, maintaining spare parts and tools, and contributing to continuous improvement in service quality and response times.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Siemens MRI systems, including installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software components.
- Experience with medical imaging equipment workflows, safety protocols, and compliance with healthcare regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, service documentation, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic logs to identify and resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and relevant software for MRI system maintenance and performance verification.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with radiologists, technicians, biomedical engineers, and hospital administration.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple service requests and prioritize urgent tasks.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field; specialized training on Siemens MRI systems is highly preferred.
- Previous field service or maintenance experience in medical imaging equipment, especially MRI, is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within Hyderabad and occasionally across South India as service needs arise.
