Build a Deluxe Website for an Equipment Leasing Company (Wordpress) Project Overview We are a third-generation equipment leasing company, founded over 85 years ago, seeking a skilled freelance team to design and develop a deluxe, professional website. Our company has a compelling story of family legacy, customer trust, and industry expertise in renting equipment across the U.S. The new website will replace our existing site, from which copy can be sourced (available upon hiring), and we will provide high-quality images via Google Drive. Our goal is to create a premium online presence that showcases our equipment rental services and heritage with a modern design, using a blue and yellow color scheme inspired by our equipment. Scope of Work Design: Create a custom, visually stunning design that reflects our equipment leasing industry focus and 85-year legacy, using a blue and yellow color scheme inspired by our equipment. Incorporate high-quality images (provided via Google Drive) to showcase our equipment and operations across the U.S. Ensure responsive design for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, with modern UI/UX elements lika smooth animations, intuitive navigation, and a clean, professional layout. Development: Build a fully functional website with 10-15 pages, including Home, About Us, Our Story, Services (covering various equipment types), Equipment Catalog, Contact, and Blog. Integrate a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress for easy content updates. Implement basic SEO optimization to improve visibility for terms like "equipment leasing" and "equipment rental." Ensure fast load times and cross-browser compatibility. Optional: Add interactive features like an equipment inquiry form or an interactive map of our operational regions (please include in your proposal if feasible). Content: Use copy from our existing website (provided upon hiring) as a foundation, emphasizing our long-standing history and customer-focused values. Refine and adapt copy to highlight our family legacy and expertise, with input from our team. Integrate provided high-quality images into relevant sections to enhance storytelling and showcase our equipment. Testing and Launch: Conduct thorough testing for functionality, responsiveness, and performance. Provide a staging site for review and feedback before launch. Assist with domain migration and launch to ensure a seamless transition. Requirements Proven experience in web design and development, with a portfolio showcasing deluxe, custom websites, preferably in industrial or equipment-related sectors. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress). Strong UI/UX design skills to create an engaging, intuitive experience that reflects our brand's legacy. Ability to work with provided assets (copy and images) and adapt them creatively to a modern design. Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback. Preference for freelancers or teams from regions with competitive rates (e.g., Latin America, Eastern Europe, or Asia) to optimize cost without compromising quality. Timeline Project duration: 6-8 weeks from start to launch. Key milestones: Week 1-2: Design mockups and initial feedback. Week 3-5: Development and content integration.
