Intern - Software Testing

A Snapshot of Your Day Imagine yourself playing a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Siemens Gamesa's ground breaking wind energy solutions. You will design, implement, and document manual test cases while developing and maintaining automation scripts to support regression and functional testing. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will report and track bugs, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products. Working within an agile environment, you will take ownership of your tasks and drive test planning and execution with minimal supervision. How You'll Make an Impact You will design and complete detailed manual test cases to validate product functionality and performance. You will develop and maintain automation scripts that enhance the efficiency and coverage of regression and functional testing. You will report bugs clearly and track issues in close coordination with development teams to ensure timely resolution. You will actively participate in agile test planning and execution, adapting to evolving project requirements. You will work independently, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability for your assigned tasks. What You Bring Some experience in manual testing and test case design, preferably in the renewable energy or related technology sector. Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting for regression and functional testing. Familiarity with bug tracking and issue management processes. Experience working in agile development environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
