�� Role Overview
A Rigger – DRI Mechanical handles safe lifting, shifting, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials during maintenance and erection activities in a DRI (sponge iron) plant.
�� Key Responsibilities
- Perform rigging and lifting operations using cranes, chain blocks, slings, and hooks.
- Assist in erection, dismantling, and maintenance of DRI mechanical equipment (kiln parts, ducts, structures).
- Select and inspect lifting tools & tackles before use.
- Guide crane operators using proper signals and communication.
- Ensure correct load balancing and securing during lifting.
- Follow safety procedures, permits, and PPE requirements.
