Job Title: Helper – Electrical [RMD]
Location: Angadpur Unit, Durgapur
Job Summary:
The Electrical Helper will assist in maintaining and supporting all electrical equipment and systems at the Angadpur Unit. The role involves working under the guidance of senior electricians/engineers to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment as per instructions from seniors.
- Support troubleshooting of electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
- Help in routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in proper condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines while performing tasks.
- Assist in cable laying, panel work, and basic wiring activities.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical materials.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by senior staff or supervisors.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of safety practices.
