Role Summary:
An SMS Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in the Steel Melting Shop to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment such as furnaces, transformers, cranes, and control panels
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot faults in motors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems
- Monitor power supply systems and ensure uninterrupted operations
- Follow safety standards and electrical compliance procedures
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and reports
