�� Core Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor steam boilers, turbines, and auxiliary equipment in the captive power plant.
- Ensure safe and efficient boiler operation as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, and load conditions.
- Perform start-up and shutdown of boilers and related systems.
- Monitor control panels, gauges, and instruments continuously.
⚙️ Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Identify and report faults, leakages, or abnormal conditions.
- Carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for major breakdowns.
- Ensure proper water treatment and fuel supply systems are functioning.
�� Safety & Compliance
- Follow boiler safety regulations and statutory norms.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR).
- Maintain proper logbooks and operational records.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency handling.
�� Monitoring & Reporting
- Record parameters like:
- Steam pressure & temperature
- Fuel consumption
- Water levels
- Prepare daily/shift reports for supervisors.
