The Showroom Sales Manager will be a critical driver of our dealership’s growth, tasked with leading a robust 30-member sales force to consistently achieve a target of 100 vehicle deliveries per month. This high-volume role demands a sharp, process-oriented leader who can optimize showroom traffic, manage large-scale team dynamics, and maximize profitability through value-added services in Bangalore's highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Volume & Revenue Delivery (100+ Cars/Month)
- Target Achievement: Own the monthly delivery target of 100+ new vehicles, implementing daily, weekly, and monthly action plans to ensure consistent pipeline flow.
- Conversion Optimization: Monitor the sales funnel closely via the Maruti Suzuki Dealer Management System (DMS), optimizing inquiry-to-test-drive and booking-to-delivery ratios.
- Local Marketing: Design and execute high-yield BTL activities, corporate-hub activations, and digital lead-generation campaigns specifically targeted at Bangalore’s tech parks and residential hubs.
2. Large Team Leadership (30+ Members)
- Manpower Management: Lead, mentor, and drive performance for a team of approximately 30 professionals, including Team Leaders (TLs), Relationship Managers (RMs), and Sales Executives.
- Daily Governance: Conduct structured morning huddles to review the previous day's retail, set daily inquiry/booking targets, and unblock pipeline bottlenecks.
- Productivity & Training: Track individual manpower productivity (cars sold per consultant) and coordinate with MSIL training academies to upskill the team on new launches, digital selling, and soft skills.
3. Customer Experience & SOP Compliance
- OEM Benchmarks: Maintain top-tier SSI (Sales Satisfaction Index) and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores as mandated by Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL).
- Process Discipline: Ensure 100% compliance with MSIL's standard operating procedures for vehicle booking, discount governance, and seamless delivery day experiences.
4. Value-Added Services (VAS) Penetration
- Drive profitability by ensuring the team meets attachment targets for Maruti Insurance, Maruti Finance, Maruti Genuine Accessories, Extended Warranty, and True Value exchange evaluations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 7 to 12 years in Automobile Retail Sales, with a minimum of 3–4 years in a core managerial role successfully handling a high-volume dealership (80+ cars/month) and managing a large team of 20+ members.
- Industry Background: Prior experience within a Maruti Suzuki (Arena/NEXA) or other high-volume OEM (Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra) dealership ecosystem is highly critical.
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and Kannada. Strong conversational proficiency in Hindi is highly preferred to effectively manage the local team and regional customer base.
- Technical Prowess: Deep familiarity with MSIL DMS or equivalent automotive CRM platforms, and strong Excel skills for data tracking and performance reporting.
Compensation & Benefits
Fixed Salary: Starting from ₹5,00,000 per annum (Final CTC is negotiable and dependent entirely on the candidate's profile, experience, and past performance track record).
