We are hiring 10 Infotainment Script Writers to join our powerhouse team in Noida. Your goal? To turn "boring" facts into "un-skippable" stories.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Script Writer role based in Noida. The Script Writer will be responsible for creating engaging scripts for social media videos. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming ideas, collaborating with the production team, writing compelling creative scripts, and refining content based on feedback to meet project requirements and deliver exceptional storytelling.
What You’ll Do
- Master of hooks - Craft hooks that hypnotise the viewers to watch the video till the end.
- Script for Retention - Use proven storytelling frameworks to maintain high engagement throughout short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks).
- Visual Direction - You don't just write words; you should understand visuals as well. You’ll provide clear cues for editors to understand the pace, B-roll requirements, and meme integration.
- Trend Mining - Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging pop culture trends and meme formats before they hit the mainstream.
- Collaborate - Work closely with the production and editing teams to ensure the final video matches the high-energy vision of your script.
Qualifications
(MUST HAVE)
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in content creation or scriptwriting.
- The Framework Toolkit: You should be intimately familiar with storytelling frameworks and how to use them.
- Pop-Culture Ph.D.: You speak in memes. You understand the nuances of internet subcultures and can weave references into scripts without it feeling like "forced marketing."
(BONUS)
- Visual Literacy: You understand how a cut, a sound effect, or a specific overlay changes the impact of a sentence.
- Research Skills: The ability to take a deep-dive topic and boil it down to its most entertaining essence without losing factual accuracy.
