Hiring: Video Editor for CLOAT
We’re looking for a creative video editor who understands modern short-form content and knows how to make videos feel fast, engaging, and premium. This role is focused on editing Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts for our brand.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of retention-based editing
- Clean pacing, hooks, captions, and transitions
- Ability to edit founder POVs, talking-head content, product demos, and short-form storytelling
- Someone who understands modern internet culture and editing trends without making content look overly “meme-y”
Editing Style:
Requirements:
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
• Ability to deliver first cuts within 48 hours
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Comfortable following references and creative direction
What you’ll get:
• 5 reels per week
• Clear editing briefs and organized footage folders
• Paid trial project before onboarding
• ₹1,500–₹2,000 per reel
• Long-term opportunity for the right fit
Important:
We’ll provide reference reels with detailed comments explaining the exact editing style, pacing, captioning, or transition inspiration we want. We’re not looking for copy-paste edits. We want someone who can creatively adapt styles to our footage.
