Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Short Form Video Editor. The Short Form Video Editor will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing short-form video content tailored for a variety of digital platforms, including social media. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize engaging visual narratives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, and efficiently managing multiple short video projects. Attention to detail, quick turnarounds, and a strong sense of storytelling are essential to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Skills in visual storytelling, motion graphics, and sound design
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimization for each (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Experience in collaborating with creative teams to execute final video projects
- Knowledge of color grading, transitions, and special effects
- Proven ability to deliver projects on tight timelines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Understanding of trends and viral content creation in digital media
- Creative flexibility to adapt content to different audiences
