As a Founding DevOps Engineer, you will take full ownership of the development and scaling of our backend systems. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers to design and implement scalable pipelines while contributing to technical innovation and product strategy. This is a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in every stage of the engineering lifecycle, from software development to testing, integration, and beyond, in a high-impact, collaborative role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Ownership: Design, build, and manage robust, scalable, and secure backend infrastructure to support AI-driven applications.
2. Collaboration with AI/ML Teams: Work closely with AI/ML engineers to develop and optimize scalable data and AI pipelines.
3. Software Development & Integration: Actively contribute to backend software development, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
4. Testing & Automation: Build automated testing and deployment pipelines to ensure high code quality and efficient delivery.
5. Technical Innovation: Drive innovation through cutting-edge solutions aligned with product strategy and roadmap.
6. Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with external partners to integrate third-party services and ensure compatibility.
7. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions for real-time insights and resolve infrastructure issues proactively.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with expertise in backend development and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
2. Technical Skills:
3. Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
4. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
5. Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
6. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
7. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially AI/ML engineers.
8. Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive, solution-driven approach to scaling and optimizing systems.
9. Strategic Thinker: Ability to align technical initiatives with broader product and business strategies.
