Role Description
This is a hybrid internship role for a Shopify Web Developer / Store Manager based in the Mohali district, with flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. As a Shopify Web Developer / Store Manager, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Shopify stores. Day-to-day tasks include managing product catalogs, customizing Shopify themes, performing regular website updates, and optimizing performance. Additionally, you will oversee store operations, facilitate troubleshooting, and analyze performance to ensure the success of the e-commerce platform.
Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify development, including liquid programming, theme customization, and API integration
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic knowledge of responsive design principles
- Familiarity with e-commerce and online store management tasks, including product uploads, order processing, and customer service
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical and operational challenges effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and SEO strategies
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Relevant certifications in Shopify or web development (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, E-commerce, or related field (preferred)
