Vani Kabir Multiverse Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Web Developer to build, optimise, and maintain high-performing ecommerce websites and digital storefronts.
This role focuses on creating fast, responsive, visually polished, and conversion-focused Shopify experiences that support long-term brand growth and seamless customer journeys. The ideal candidate understands Shopify architecture, frontend development, responsive design, and ecommerce performance optimisation.
We are looking for someone who can combine technical development skills with strong UI understanding and performance-driven execution.
Responsibilities
• Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, landing pages, and website functionalities.
• Build responsive and high-performance ecommerce experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Customise Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
• Improve website speed, navigation flow, user experience, and overall conversion performance.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and tracking tools as required.
• Collaborate closely with designers, marketing teams, and content teams to execute brand-aligned digital experiences.
• Troubleshoot bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
• Optimise websites for SEO, responsiveness, accessibility, and ecommerce best practices.
• Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve functionality and user retention.
• Stay updated with Shopify updates, ecommerce trends, and modern frontend development practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
• 1–4+ years of experience in Shopify development, web development, or ecommerce development.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience building and customising Shopify themes and storefront experiences.
• Understanding of ecommerce UX/UI principles and conversion-focused design.
• Experience with Shopify apps, integrations, APIs, and third-party tools.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and website performance optimisation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced execution-focused environment.
• Experience with Figma, Canva, Adobe tools, or modern design systems is a plus.
