Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Shopify Integration Specialist with strong expertise in ERP (IFS) connectivity, eCommerce operations, and regulated medical device workflows. This role will architect, optimize, and maintain the digital commerce ecosystem that powers our global customer experience—from online ordering to fulfillment, returns, and device traceability.
The ideal candidate brings hands‑on Shopify development skills, deep understanding of ERP data flows, and the ability to build scalable, compliant integrations that support rapid business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Shopify storefronts, custom apps, and backend workflows.
- Architect and manage end‑to‑end integrations between Shopify and IFS ERP, ensuring accurate synchronization of orders, inventory, pricing, shipments, and returns.
- Build and optimize API‑based integrations, webhooks, and middleware workflows to support real‑time data exchange.
- Ensure eCommerce operations comply with medical device regulatory requirements, including UDI, lot/serial tracking, and controlled returns (RMA).
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, quality, and IT teams to streamline order processing, fulfillment, and customer communication.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes.
- Support new product launches, channel expansion, and enhancements to the digital customer experience.
- Maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and SOPs for audits and compliance.
- Monitor site performance, conversion metrics, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience working with Shopify (Shopify/Shopify Plus) in a technical or integration‑focused role.
- Strong experience integrating Shopify with IFS ERP (IFS Cloud or Apps 10 preferred).
- Proficiency in REST APIs, GraphQL, Liquid, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and integration best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with order management, fulfillment workflows, inventory synchronization, and returns processing.
- Understanding of medical device supply chain, including compliance, traceability, and regulated data handling.
- Experience with middleware platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, or similar).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify Plus, custom app development, and theme customization.
- Familiarity with UDI requirements, FDA/ISO compliance, and medical device eCommerce operations.
- Experience with 3PL integrations, OMS systems, or subscription/recurring order models.
- Knowledge of SEO, site performance optimization, and conversion best practices.
