We are looking for a highly driven professional to manage and grow strategic partnerships within the Shopify ecosystem. The role involves building relationships with Shopify agencies, app partners, technology providers, consultants, and ecosystem stakeholders to drive collaborations, business growth, and long-term strategic alliances.
The ideal candidate should have experience in partnerships, alliances, business development, SaaS ecosystems, or eCommerce technology platforms, with strong relationship management and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage partnerships within the Shopify ecosystem
- Identify and onboard strategic alliance partners including:
- Shopify agencies
- App partners
- Technology integrations
- Consultants & ecosystem experts
- Develop go-to-market collaboration opportunities with partners
- Maintain long-term partner relationships and ensure mutual growth
- Work closely with sales, product, marketing, and leadership teams
- Create joint business plans and partnership strategies
- Drive partner engagement programs, enablement, and co-marketing initiatives
- Track partnership performance, pipeline contribution, and business impact
- Represent the company in Shopify ecosystem events, webinars, and networking forums
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives
- Identify new ecosystem opportunities and emerging market trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in:
- Partnerships
- Alliances
- Ecosystem management
- SaaS business development
- eCommerce technology partnerships
- Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem is highly preferred
- Experience working with SaaS, eCommerce, D2C, or technology companies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build relationships with founders, agencies, and enterprise stakeholders
- Strong networking and collaboration capabilities
- Self-driven, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset
- Experience handling cross-functional coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with Shopify partners/agencies/apps
- Exposure to platform partnerships or channel alliances
- Experience in B2B SaaS or eCommerce technology ecosystem
- Familiarity with CRM and partnership management tools
