Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer / Web Developer.
The person in this role will build, customize, and maintain Shopify-based websites and web applications, ensuring responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing experiences.
Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end interfaces, integrating back-end functionalities, optimizing site performance, managing themes and plugins, and troubleshooting technical issues.
The role involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and data specialists to implement conversion-focused features, track user behavior, and support ongoing experimentation and optimization.
The developer will also be responsible for code reviews, documentation, and staying current with Shopify platform updates and modern web development practices.
Qualifications
- Most Important : Shopify & Wordpress Development experience
- Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive Web Design.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development and Programming skills for integrating APIs, managing data flows, and building custom functionality.
- Candidates should possess solid Web Development skills, with experience in Shopify theme customization, Liquid templating, and app integrations.
- Candidates should possess skills in user-centered Web Design, UI/UX best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms (especially Shopify) and knowledge of SEO and performance optimization for online stores is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), task management tools, and agile development methodologies is an advantage.
