Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Shopify themes to create optimized and responsive e-commerce solutions. The responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and resolving website issues, integrating third-party apps, optimizing website performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The developer will also stay updated on the latest Shopify and e-commerce trends to implement innovative features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shopify development, including Liquid, Shopify APIs, and custom app development
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or Vue.js
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and third-party app integrations
- Experience with responsive web design and creating mobile-first solutions
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization for e-commerce sites
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Previous experience working with e-commerce projects is a plus
