Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to design, develop, and maintain our e-commerce website on the Shopify platform. The candidate should have experience in Shopify theme customization, app integration, website optimization, and ensuring smooth online store operations.
Key Responsibilities
. Customize and manage Shopify website sections using custom code.
. Create and modify custom Shopify layouts, sections, and templates.
. Work on Shopify theme customization as per business and design requirements.
. Build custom-coded features instead of using unnecessary paid apps.
. Improve website design, user experience, mobile responsiveness, and conversion flow.
. Fix bugs, layout issues, speed issues, and technical errors on the website.
. Manage and optimize product pages, collection pages, cart, and checkout-related customizations where possible.
. Connect and manage digital marketing platforms with Shopify.
. Review tracking and campaign-related setup and fix technical issues when needed.
. Set up, manage, and troubleshoot tools like:
. GA4 . Google Tag Manager
. Google Ads tracking . Meta Pixel / Facebook Pixel
. Conversion API . Event tracking
. Custom conversion tracking
. Connect Shopify APIs with third-party app providers or external platforms.
. Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and other relevant API integrations.
. Maintain clean, scalable, and well-structured code and experienced with handling large back-end inventory stores.
. Git/version control workflow
. Knowledge of schema markup / robots.txt/ sitemaps and technical SEO implementation
. Ability to work with figma/adobe/design handoffs
. Knowledge of app performance impact and reducing app bloat
. Experience with custom animations/interactions without hurting performance
. Basic understanding of server side tracking and attribution
. Should be comfortable with:
. Staging environments . Backups
. Deployment handling . Rollback management
. Coordinate with our team and suggest improvements for better website performance and conversion.
