About the role

Join our small but dynamic product team responsible for managing a diverse and extensive e-commerce product stack, which includes various critical components such as the seller's website, seller's dashboard, seller app, shipping stack, customer communication stack, marketing stack, pricing stack, and customer-facing app. As an Associate Product Manager, you'll have a unique opportunity to gain in-depth experience across the e-commerce spectrum and work in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Responsibilities Include Guide products through the entire product lifecycle, from problem identification and concept development to defining detailed product requirements, engineering, quality assurance, marketing, and performance evaluation Drive the execution of multiple projects within an Agile environment, ensuring product requirements are met, and products are delivered on time and with high quality Develop a strong technical aptitude to build and enhance technical platforms and products. Contribute to engineering discussions and priorities, collaborating closely in a dynamic and scrappy startup environment Advocate for metric and data-based decision-making, using analytics to make informed choices that enhance product performance Uphold and promote the company's mission, values, and ethical standards, ensuring all products align with these principles Conduct customer research, gather feedback, analyze user behavior, and perform competitive analysis to identify new product requirements and improvements Efficiently manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in a well-structured manner, ensuring a systematic approach to project success. About the company

We're a profitable series-B funded company (raised $11M) from top investors, Elevation Capital, Chiratae Ventures and Venture Highway with a vision to help e-commerce sellers build their own brand. ShopDeck, helps e-commerce businesses to easily create their online stores and sell D2C (Direct to consumer) profitably. This helps sellers to create their own channel and derisk themselves from 100% reliance on e-commerce marketplaces like AZ, FK, Meesho, etc. This also helps them take their first steps on the path to create their own brand which is every seller's long term aspiration. India's D2C wave has been limited to venture-funded D2C brands today. But there are ~500k-1M sellers who sell on marketplaces, who have a strong aspiration to build their brand direct-to-consumers (D2C) as well. Running a D2C channel profitably not just includes building a conversion-first website, but also managing pricing, shipping and marketing. ShopDeck's product stack helps them manage all these 4 elements (website, pricing, shipping & marketing) and gives a unified view of their profitability by combining all these four stacks.
