Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a Shop Supervisor to join in Savli, Gujarat. In this role, you will lead and empower the shop team to achieve high productivity, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Our Team
The
Shop floor Supervisor will support production team. The Production team is working closely with Planning Team, Project Management, Quality, EH&S, and stores to deliver on-time product. The team supports the manufacturing with all safety & quality measures. The successful candidate would be part of production team in an exciting and fast-paced environment
What You Will Do
Requirements:
- Ensure safety is always the first priority; model and enforce safe work practices and compliance with all safety standards.
- Motivate and coach shift leaders and operators to improve efficiency and embrace change.
- Foster a disciplined, accountable environment where action items are executed promptly.
- Ensure on-time delivery of all drawings as per planned sequence and timely setup inspections.
- Uphold and improve quality standards, holding each team member accountable for clear deliverables.
- Model humility by seeking feedback and learning from all team members.
- Support the self-actualization and growth of each team member by helping them identify and develop their strengths and passions.
- Apply division of labor by comparative advantage to maximize team contribution.
- Communicate expectations clearly and use strong soft skills to resolve conflicts, build trust, and foster collaboration.
Success Measures:
- Operators consistently deliver productive output per shift as per target set by planning team.
- All drawings and inspections are completed on time.
- The team demonstrates discipline, accountability, humility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Team members actively pursue learning and growth, maximizing their contributions by leveraging their comparative advantage.
- Quality standards are met or exceeded.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Background in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; able to motivate and develop others.
- Demonstrated ability to foster accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
- High level of humility, willingness to learn from others, and commitment to personal growth.
- Experience applying division of labor by comparative advantage is a plus.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Willing and able to work any assigned shift schedule, which may include day, night, weekend, and holiday work hours.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PC-based production reporting systems applications

- Working experience with various industries.
- Experience with press shop, machine shop, tool room.
