ShipDelight - Technical Lead - Python Frameworks

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to lead our technology team, drive innovation, and build scalable solutions.

The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in backend Technologies(Python, Strategy & Product Development :

• Define and drive the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems with a focus on logistics and supply chain optimization.
• Ensure adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards.
• Promote the adoption of modern technologies and best coding practices.
  
  

Team Leadership & Oversee the tech team (20+ members, including backend, frontend, and DevOps teams).

• Provide mentorship to engineers and build a high-performing tech culture.
• Define engineering best practices, coding standards, and review mechanisms.
• Encourage a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  
  

Backend, Frontend & Infrastructure Lead the backend team in building and maintaining robust APIs using Python, FastAPI & Similar Technologies.

Technical Innovation & Research

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to ShipDelight.
• Drive innovation by fostering R&D initiatives within the technology team.
  
  

Implementation & Support

• Act as a technology guide for the operations and implementation teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of ShipDelight's solutions with external systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and technology leadership.
• Expertise in Python, FastAPI for backend development.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with an ability to communicate effectively at senior levels.
• Experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle in SaaS, or e-commerce platforms is highly preferred.
