Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Ship Repair Manager based in Mumbai & Gujarat. The role involves overseeing and managing ship repair projects, ensuring the timely completion of work within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating repair schedules, managing materials and resources, and supervising teams to maintain high standards of workmanship. The Ship Repair Manager will collaborate with various departments, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in marine construction, ship repair processes, and related technologies
- Project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related fields
- Relevant work experience in ship repair or marine construction management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry is a plus
- 4 year minimum experience as a project planner, project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
- Proficiency in Planning and Production Planning to strategize and manage workflows and schedules effectively.
- Strong experience Primavera, MS Project, AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with industry standards and construction or infrastructure project management tools is a plus.
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with various teams and present data-driven insights clearly.
- Expertise in Project Control for monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
- Strong Analytical Skills and aptitude for analyzing project progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preference to those living near Worli and in Mumbai
Location- Worli
Working hours - 10am-7pm and 6 days Working (weekly Off on Sunday)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month - Depending on applicant
