Position Summary
Shining Stars Montessori Academy PCS seeks an experienced educator to serve as Primary Instructional Coach (PK3–Grade 2). As a member of the Academic Leadership Team, this role supports Guides/teachers in delivering high-quality Montessori instruction aligned with early childhood development, foundational literacy, and independence-building practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach Primary Guides through observation, modeling, co-planning, and feedback cycles
- Support fidelity to Montessori practice, classroom environments, and work cycles
- Guide implementation of early literacy (including ARC) and numeracy foundations
- Monitor student progress and support data-informed instruction and interventions
- Collaborate with Student Support, ELL, and leadership teams to ensure differentiation and inclusion
- Lead and facilitate professional development and teacher onboarding
- Support family education and engagement around Montessori philosophy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred (Early Childhood or related field)
- Montessori Primary Certification strongly required
- 5+ years teaching experience; coaching/leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning
